Morgan Freeman Talks Batman Begins

Morgan Freeman told LatinoReview that he was only on the set of Batman Begins for five days, but he got to ride in the Batmobile. "I show him how to jump a chasm¨ Freeman said.

Freeman plays Lucius Fox, a good guy who did appear in the original comic books. “I didn’t know that before, but yeah, he’s part of the design team for Wayne industries. All those great combat toys he has, that’s who he is.”

Based on his time on the various sets, Freeman is confident but not certain about the film’s prospects. “It’s certainly going to be different. It’s going to be a different Bat Person, guarantee. Darker. You just never know. You just don’t until you see it. They knew they had a winner with Alexander, you know that. How could you miss with Colin Farrell? Easy.”

Freeman is not contracted to reappear in the sequels. “I haven’t signed anything, no. If it survives, big question, and they decide to do Batman Continues On, [I will].”
