Exclusive: Tyrese Ready To Roll With The A-Team

During the Death Race press junket at Comic-Con, Latino Review had a chance to sit down with the stars of the film, one of them being the ever popular Tyrese.

When asked about Transformers 2, he said, "They bumped my character up a  lot more in the sequel. A lot more hero moments they're giving me, and I'm excited."

But the big news is his confirmation about The A-Team. Playboy bunny bikini waxer Devin over at Chud ran a story back in May about Tyrese wanting to play B.A. Baracus, the role made famous by Mr. T but that nothing was set in stone.

Here's what Tyrese said when asked about it at Comic-Con:

Latino Review: There's rumors you're gonna do A-Team, is it true?

Tyrese: Yes sir. Soon as that script come back in and they tweak that thing out, we gonna go ahead and get movin'.

What I think is interesting is he doesn't say that he's playing B.A. Ice Cube has been rumored as the guy to fill those shoes for a while.

So is Tyrese playing B.A. Baracus? Or could he possibly be playing the role Dirk Benedict did so well, that of Templeton 'Faceman' Peck? Tyrese certaintly has the looks to pull off the character of Face, as well as the attitude to pull of a character of B.A.


Right now I'm putting my money on B.A. Baracus. I pity the fool who thinks otherwise.

  If anyone shoulkd play BA Barracus it should be Bob sapp. I know he wants the role. give it to him.

  I think that Tyrese is one of the best male actors out there right now. He doesn't get the credit that he deserves. Although he does not look the part, I know that his acting skills will make up for that. He is an awesome person and I wish him the very best.

  Tyrses! For a movie like this you need a great script, a great director and a fantastic cast and he is a terrible start!!! I think you should be looking at the big guy out of the green mile or Ving Rhymes to play B.A, you should look to cast De Niro, Crow, or even Gene Hackman as Hannible, FACE should be some one able to pull of the role like Pitt, Bale or Daniel Craig and there is only one person who I think will ever do Mad Murd the Justice it deserves and thats Jim Funny man Carey!!!!
