HBO Open To A Sopranos Movie
By George 'El Guapo' Roush on July 12, 2008

The Trades are reporting on HBO making moves to get more of their projects to the big screen.
Sopranos may hit the big time to if David Chase wants to do it. Throw some money at him, he'll do it. Scorcese will do a period drama for the cable network but that's not hitting the big screen. I just have to mention him because he's Scorcese.
Talk of a Sex and the City sequel has been floating around the offices of HBO. I've seen one episode of the TV show and that was enough to make me realize Sarah Jessica Parker will make an awesome case of Elmer's Glue when she finally passes away. At her age, that should be in about 5-6 years.
What pisses me off is the article states that HBO has officially killed plans to wrap up Deadwood on the big screen. Ya, heaven forbid you close out the best show you've had on that channel in years. No guns and manliness for the guys because hey, we're all clamoring for more stories of 70 year old vaginas and what was once an inspired mob series gone stupid.
