J.J. Abrams 1-18-08 Website Live

So you are probably one of the six trillion people who saw Transformers, right?
And if you saw Transformers you probably saw the trailer composed of camcorder footage that saw New York being torn apart by...some Godzilla creature? All you know is that suddenly the Statue of Liberty's head fly onto the ground.
Then some woman behind me said, "What? There's no title? What's that movie called? That movie sucks!"
Well I didn't think it sucked. I think it looked great. Especially since the flick is produced by J.J. Abrams - the guy who brought us great shows like Lost, Felicity, and Alias and flicks like Mission Impossible 3 and the upcoming Star Trek prequel.
The flick has been called Cloverfield around the industry. However a new website has popped up for the flick which is simply
www.1-18-08.com. The teaser had stated 'From Producer J.J. Abrams' and was then followed by 'In Theaters 1-18-08.' Could the flick be called 1-18-08? Or is it Cloverfield? Or could the permanent title be the Untitled J.J. Abrams Project - which I still think is a great name for a movie.
Time will tell...but for now go onto the site and check out the time-stamped photo of two gals looking a bit scared.
