Jay and Seth vs. the Apocalypse

According to the trades Seth Rogen and Jay Baruchel have signed on to do “Jay and Seth vs. the Apocalypse which Mandate Pictures is aiming to in 2009.
The film is based on a comedy short from "Superbad" scribes Rogen and Evan Goldberg, which in turn was based on a story by Goldberg and Jason Stone. Rogen and Goldberg will write and produce the feature.
If the material is anything like Seth Rogan’s previous efforts, I’m sure it should be fun to watch. We’ll have to wait and see how long of a shelf life Rogan has when it comes to writing.
Mandate is aiming to shoot the pic in 2009.
