More Cloverfield Websites Arrive
By Ryan 'The Rican with the Irish name' McLelland on July 6, 2007

You've all the seen the trailer before Transformers.
The trailer opens with scenes from a surprise going-away party in a New York bar with a view of the city. Before long, a thundering roar is heard, and by the time guests run downstairs, pandemonium and flaming debris are hitting the streets. After a huge explosion at the lower end of Manhattan, what appears to be the head of the Statue of Liberty comes hurtling up the street like a giant projectile.
Yeah...it pretty much rocked big time.
The mystery budget has been dubbed 'Cloverfield' but is also being known as '1-18-08' after the trailer and new website. Cloverfield began shooting in mind-June in New York with the tiny budget of just $30 million.
The flick stars a relatively unknown cast which includes Michael Stahl-David (The Black Donnellys), Odet Jasmin, Mike Vogel (Supercross) and Lizzy Kaplan (The Class). J.J. Abrams (Lost, Mission Impossible 3, upcoming Star Trek prequel) is producing and Matt Reeves (who co-created Felicity with Abrams is directing).
Now two more sites have popped up:
EthanHaaswasright.com and
EthanHaaswaswrong.blogspot.com. Now the 'wrong' blog is thus far talking about Ethan Haas being a madman and how the writer can't believe that anyone listens to this guy.. The 'right' one actually starts off with a mystery image that turns into a puzzle that you can solve that will allow you, once solved, to see a piece of raw video message.

Don't you just love how great Internet promotion has gotten?
Is the movie Godzilla meets Blair Witch? Only time will tell but something tells me we'll see alot more from these websites then we will see preview images on the big screen.
