New Punisher: War Zone Stills

Lionsgate have provided Latino Review a batch of new stills for Marvel's new comic book film "Punisher: War Zone" starring Ray Stevenson, Dominic West, Julie Benz, and Dash Mihok.The film is due out December 5th 2008. Waging his one-man war on the world of organized crime, ruthless vigilante-hero Frank Castle sets his sights on overeager mob boss Billy Russoti. After Russoti is left horribly disfigured by Castle, he sets out for vengeance under his new alias: Jigsaw. With the "Punisher Task Force" hot on his trail and the FBI unable to take Jigsaw in, Frank must stand up to the formidable army that Jigsaw has recruited before more of his evil deeds go unpunished. !_!-reply. I have read some Punisher, not much though, read the Ennis stuff and Castle's appearance in Daredevil. If you can recommend some issues or novels, that'd be cool. I agree, the Tom Jane movie wasn't great and strayed a bit, but I liked Jane in it. A tough as shit everyman. Stevenson is to terminator like and stiff from what I've seen.. Here's hoping though

all they had to do to make this film work was KEEP THE FREAKING BIG WHILE SKULL, the got rid of it in 3 movies. punisher is a bad looking mopho because of the skull, hollywooders can't seem to get this through their heads. PLUS keep him psychotic. he was originally a psychotic vigilante, he got watered down over time. IF the just pay attention to his original character structure they might have a movie...

The Punisher is hands on physical. He doesn't bother with trying to look good while exacting vengeance upon the criminals. He aims to kill in any which way be it a shot in the back or a sledge to the head.
