Video Interview: Jasmine Jessica Anthony On 1408
By Antoinette Alvarez on June 20, 2007
“1408”, the new film based on Stephen King’s short story stars, John Cusack, Mary McCormick, Samuel Jackson and Jasmine Jessica Anthony, who plays Cusack’s daughter in the movie as Gracie Enslin, who dies of a sickness and becomes an important part in the state of the depression and anger that Cusack’s character goes through.
Jasmine Jessica Anthony, most remembered for her role as Leonardo DiCaprio’s sister in “Catch Me If You Can” and Geena Davis’ daughter in the hit ABC drama series, “Commander in Chief” among others describes how she got into acting and what it was like be in this film. I asked her to name her role models which don’t include a Hilton, Spears or Lohan..So, I presume she’s going in the right direction! And, she didn’t have any other projects in the works yet but I don’t think she will have any problems because with the lineup of talent she’s acted with already, this girl is gaining knowledge and experience, and what could be better than that!
1408 Opens June 22nd
