One big honor in the music world is doing a song for the newest Bond film. Amy Winehouse was slated to do one for the upcoming Daniel Craig starrer 'Quantum of Solace' but now???
Producer Mark Ronson (who just did the awesome album Version along with working with Wino on the song Valerie on the album) has said that the song he and Amy have been working on for the Bond flick has been "abandonded."
Producer Mark Ronson says he and Amy Winehouse have abandoned recording the theme to the latest James Bond film. Ronson has been quoted as saying it would take "some miracle of science" to finish it.
Course Wino has been in the eye of the public as of late with all the drugs, police, raids on her home, and a husband in jail for tampering. I don't blame ya girl. Rest up them pipes and take it easy. Or take is sleazy. Whichever works for you.
MAY I SUGGST to the film's producers to finally give Jamiroquai the title track. They developed a theme for Bond many years ago in the Pierce Brosnan era but it wasn't picked. Maybe it's time to give one of the UK's favorite sons another go.
